Websites
I created ALiEM, initially as a single-author blog site in 2009 to serve as a repository for my reflections, lecture notes, and a behind-the-scenes look at life as an academic educator and emergency physician. It has since blossomed into a full, web-based publication site focused on Emergency Medicine with a network of editors and authors working collaborative from around the globe.
I co-created ALiEM University (ALiEMU) in 2014 to provide free learning management system for Emergency Medicine learning. We firmly believe in our mantra "be free to learn," such that all content is open-access. This site features various courses, such as the popular Approved Instructional Resources (AIR) Series, Pediatric EM Point of Care Ultrasonography Series, and Bridge to Emergency Medicine.
